In-den Decorative Luxury of Samurai Heritage

Rumored to have started life as a way of decorating parts of Samurai attire, In-den is a process by which famously soft, smooth deer-leather is lacquered with intricate patterns. The lacquered patterns are achieved using a process somewhat similar to screen printing. Stencils are created by hand using 'Ise Washi' (fine quality Japanese paper) with techniques and designs that very few craftsmen are still able to do. The urushi lacquer itself acts as an adhesive and is guaranteed to never peel off! In-den not only looks extremely beautiful but is hard-wearing and will stand the test of time.

The Primula Long Wallets

The 'long' wallet, which can be carried in a bag or a coat pocket, has space for 8 credit cards/business cards, a driver's license, bank-notes and loose change (in an incorporated full-length, zippered coin pouch). There is also a full-length pocket on the outside that can be used for quick access to low-denomination bills! Known to improve in vibrancy over time, the two gorgeous color choices of urushi lacquer on black deer-leather (red and beige) come in a design of Sakura.
