Exhibiting near perfect symmetry and harmony, the award winning* Conical Fruit Bowl is a very attractive piece, ideal for salads and pasta too.

Strips of straight grained cedar more than 100 years old are bent and formed into shape in a centuries old technique known as MAGEWAPPA. The overlaid slices of cedar bring to mind the folds of kimono, and make the bowl a pleasing center piece for the dining table. Lightly treated to bring out the grain, the wood's faint aroma coupled with its inherent durability, despite being extremely lightweight, add to the overall pleasing effect on the senses. A lovely piece of luxury for any home that also makes a very special fourth or fifth (wood) wedding anniversary gift. (fourth traditional US/UK, fifth modern US).
