A cutting board made of Hinoki wood (Japanese cypress), which other side becomes a dinner plate

This cutting board has been created in a joint work with a Japanese furnishing carpentry shop, which is specialized in crafting Japanese wood furnishings like paper sliding-doors and wood transoms.

One side is finished as a fine cutting board and the other side is laser-engraved with décor patterns to be suited as a food serving plate, which can be used one way as an excellent kitchenware or the other as a party table enhancer.
