The SAMURAI TABI is a unique and colorful Tabi that values the Japanese taste and supports traditional Japanese industry. Our traditional craftsmen of Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture - where 80% of Tabi socks in Japan and the most Tabi socks in the world are made - create each Tabi by hand.

It can be worn in many ways.
As slippers / room wear to bring decor to your legs. It provides better accel operation etc. than shoes when worn while driving. Of course, it can be worn with western clothes like pants etc. to give accent to your fashion. People who wear Tabi on a regular basis such as Shinto priests are known to be less likely to have athlete's foot.

The "Yagasuri Neko" design is based on the Yagasuri pattern which depicts the feathers on an arrow. The pattern is believed to bring good fortune since an arrow which is shot does not come back, a symbol for "not moving backward". The pattern was traditionally used on Kimono that a newlywed wife would take with her to her new family. Our design also has the Maneki Neko with coin for added good fortune.
