MATSU high-grade women's walking stick with J grip.

The J grip can be hung on the elbow like an umbrella handle. The color palette of red, blue, and white tricolor mesh leather-wrapped grip and the burgundy red shaft is perfect for a glamorous day.

The grip is made of aluminum molded into the shape of J and wrapped in mesh leather. To weave the mesh leather evenly into a curved grip requires the skill of a master craftsman. The neck is machined from solid brass which has strength and beauty. The maple shaft is repeatedly painted urushi (lacquer) and sharpened, and finally polished to perfection.

The J grip has the advantage of being placed on the elbow. This is the grip that British gentlemen still like to carry.

SHAPT Material: MAPLE

Deciduous broadleaf tree of the genus Acer (maple). It has heavy and dense characteristics, and has a variety of uses including furniture and building materials. The Canadian flag has a design of maple leaves.

GRIP ‐ Ergonomic Symmetry

The Stick is designed so that the grip is an extension of the shaft. There are three grip shapes: ball grip, T grip, and J grip.

NECK ‐ Robust and Strong Connection.

The parts that connect the grip to the shaft use a cross structure. This structure is both lightweight and durable. To further increase the strength, multiple parts machined from solid brass are combined. The difference is obvious when compared to general casting (method of pouring into a mold and molding). The seamless outline is the result of craftsmanship that makes it hard to believe that the parts are combined.

Straps are useful when you want to free up both hands. It also stands out as a design accent.

SHAFT ‐Elegance Brought About by the Slightest Difference

The diameter of the shaft is set at 20mm at the top and 18mm at the bottom (17mm at the top and 15.5mm at the bottom for women). This slight taper dramatically changes the impression. Although it is not obvious to the naked eye, the lower part of the top is non-tapered, or straight. If you want to shorten the length, you can adjust it here

FERRULE ‐ A Great Supporting Role that also Serves as a Cover

A ferrule that comes in direct contact with the ground needs to be durable, as well as slip-resistant and shock-absorbent. Since a typical ferrule is made of ebonite or horn, a cap-like cover had to be added to complement the latter function. The hard materials like ebonite or horn did not fit the modern road conditions. We solved the problem of aesthetics by making the ferrule itself out of rubber. It can be replaced when worn.
