It is the first Japanese canvas;"MATSUEMON-HO" in Japan that was invented as a sail"MATSUEMON-HO"of a ship , which was most important in Edo where logistics were largely due to ships, a light and easy to handle. As a canvas fabric, it is thick and durable material that is unparalleled uniquely, it brings out a unique texture from extremely thick threads and special weave tissues used. Coating process is applied to the fabric surface, it is resistant to water, dirt, rubbing, and has a sense of luxury.
